Regrettably, the Hello Nikki – Let’s Beauty Up development team has decided to shut down the game. Well, considering their poor treatment of their players for these past few months, it’s not very surprising. Their official notice can be read here. The developer, xiong xiang, gives players an option to transfer your account to two games. However, given the experience I’ve had with this game and the reviews I have heard/read about games from this developer, their games tend to be riddled with bugs, the customer service is very poor and they don’t speak good English. I personally would recommend you to stay away from their games. Although the game will be shut down, I will keep this blog up. I hope it has provided players with useful information. |
This blog is made to provide a guide for Hello Nikki English version. Hello Nikki is a dress up game, and although it has quite a lot of bugs and uses poor English, the beautiful graphics and designs are the main attraction for players.
I made this blog for the players in hopes that players can better find info here, as the Official Hello Nikki Facebook group can be very messy and hard to navigate, and to provide as much useful info and fill any gaps there may be in the Facebook groups.

hello aichan, i just finish the sky tower and somthing pop up saying something like “you have finished sky tower, now….” but because i was too excited, i press it too fast and couldnt read it until the end. can u please tell me what will i get after i finish sky tower? because you’re a pro i hope u will kindly tell me. 😉

Haha thanks, I’m not a pro though, just a player who have been playing a while. The message that pops up when you finish Sky Tower is:
“Amazing! You’ve completed all the challenges, go to receive the rewards!”
Additionally, the message that pops up after you finish Fantasy Tower is:
“Each Dream Ticket can redeem one wishing star. You owned %d Dream Tickets. Tips: Finish the trial of Wonderful Ambassador in holiday village to get free wishing stars.”
Obviously they didn’t change the message from the Resort event lol.

I have no idea, to be honest. The English version of the game is quite behind and not very organised. Yesterday there was a maintenance but there was no apparent change afterwards.

The game server has been under maintenance since midnight and will continue until at least 1.30pm today. Please follow the official Facebook page for such updates and do not open your game during the maintenance as that may damage and/or delete your account.

I’m glad you find this blog helpful. You can find info on how to get Bohemian Dress under the tab -> Wardrobe -> Dress. You can find info on a lot of other clothes under the Wardrobe section as well.

I thought you meant the present from her sister, which would be the purple shoes you get at the start. The story is unfinished. You may be able to find out more from the ongoing and more advanced Chinese version, but even that one is not finished yet.

It’s too bad they shut down. I didn’t even realize until one day I just couldn’t log in anymore 😦 I was on the second last map as well.. If I’d know I would’ve went on a spending spree with the gems and coins I saved up XD

Hello! I have found a game thats almost similar to HelloNikki?A bit too similar…I played it and i still prefer HelloNikki (´･ω･`) this game is called “RomanticDiary” (i dont think theres space in between)
Although HelloNikki is gone, i play Nikki dress up instead 😦 its how i first found hellonikki,already miss the game.
About the new game, its not what im used to;; theres too many complicated things like “evolving clothes”,”splitting clothes” which made me go wtf.I hope you’ll check out because i want to discuss this with someone if thats okay?I dont wanna bother you but i just want to know if you think its a HelloNikki copy?Wouldnt that be a crime?Sorry for the long comment& your account is amazing (=^▽^)σ

Actually yes, I played Romantic Diary when it first came out. It is a little complicated at first and there is a lot of elements, but I think after you play for a while you’ll understand and get used to it. I don’t know if it’s really a copy, dress up games aren’t entirely new in concept so I think it’s fine. I played the game for a while (managed to unlock Reinhart, I think until affection level 5 maybe? I don’t remember), but I stopped because it’s too demanding and money draining (I did not use any real money to play this game so I missed out on a lot of events). Yes, you are welcome to discuss this game with me, although I stopped a while back so I may not know if they have implemented anything new. There is also a Facebook group for this game where you can discuss with other players who are still playing. If you want to talk with me, just drop by and we can chat 🙂
There is also a spin-off version of Hello Nikki called Miracle Nikki. Not too long ago they made an English version for it so you might want to check it out. I’m not playing it so I can’t help you with this one but there is also a Facebook group for this game.

I cant help but to laugh at how tsundere Luca is tbh and the stories doesnt make much sense but its kinda funny in a way.I found some clothes design similar to Hello Nikki but i’m okay with it.Its actually kinda hard to pass the levels 😦 theres so many things to do in it *sigh*

The best thing to do is focus on the events. You can slowly pass the story levels later. I can’t remember what else to tell you, I’ve stopped playing for a long time haha.
